Karaby Gård

Sweden Farm Camp

Welcome to a week full of joy and experiences on our idyllic farm in Värmland, Sweden.

You will live comfortably in our large manor house in your own rooms and shared kitchen and sitting room. Outside there is a large green garden with plenty of space for games, and just hanging around. There are trampolines, swings and trees to climb in.

On the farm we have many animals, you will meet our cuddly cats, our cute little dog, rabbits, pigs, sheeps, horses and chickens. There is also a farm shop where you can buy locally produced food.

During the week of the camp you are offered a delicious breakfast buffet every day, and "Swedish fika" every afternoon, one activity or excursion every day and family games in the garden for those who want to in the evening. In the evenings the grill in the garden will also be lit and ready for those who want to have a barbecue for dinner. Otherwise you can cook your dinner in one of our nice kitchens.

There will also be plenty of opportunities to feed and interact with the animals, and to learn more about the life on a farm.

The camp and activities are best suited for slightly older children, preferably over 8 years, and teenagers. Younger siblings are of course welcome.

A little about us!

We are a small family consisting of mom Charlotte, Trolla 12 years old and Truls 14 years old.

We are worldschoolers and travel a lot, mostly by plane and so far within Europe. The best thing about it, is all the new places we get to explore and all the wonderful meetings with the people we meet. Above all, it gives us so much to see that you can be, live and make a living in so many different ways.

When we are not traveling, we are at home on our fantastic farm in Värmland, Sweden where we run a "Country Living" a kind of hostel in the countryside.

We all like country life and being out in nature.

Truls also likes technology and always has a new project going on, flying with his drone, mountain biking and he loves cats.

Trolla loves her dog Valentina and all the other animals. She is really good at baking, likes to do crafts and build with wood.

Charlotte likes to plan new adventures. Growing and fixing up the garden and renovating, she likes horses and animals and most of all being with her family.

Now we want to share our farm and meet new friends!
